Kate Jansen, CMP, is a seasoned professional in the event and sales management industry, currently serving as the Senior National Sales Manager at the Raleigh Convention Center since July 2017. Prior roles include National Sales Manager within the same organization, Catering Sales Manager at Centerplate from June 2011 to July 2017, and Special Event Coordinator at the Raleigh Convention Center from May 2010 to May 2011. Kate began a career in event coordination at the Raleigh Convention Center and Amphitheater as an Event and Concert Coordinator in 2010 and held an administrative role at North Carolina State University as the University Housing - Metcalf Residence Hall Administrative Coordinator from August 2009 to May 2010. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from North Carolina State University.
