Hiram Valdez is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance for Payments and Financial Products at Amazon since July 2024. Valdez has held various key roles including Limited Partner at Rally Cap Ventures and 99 Startups since 2021, and served as Chief Financial Officer at RappiCard México from July 2021 to November 2023, where management of finance, operations, and people functions was a primary responsibility. Prior experience includes Head of Strategy and Finance at Uber, where Valdez launched Uber's fintech in Latin America, and managed strategic finance operations across multiple countries. Additional roles include General Manager at Azúcar Dulcerías and Investment Analyst at the International Finance Corporation. Hiram Valdez holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University.
