It all began when company founder Hans Herrmann Brügmann, a carpenter from Hamburg-Bergedorf, developed the original threaded insert. His innovative design enabled wood screws to be loosened and reconnected multiple times without compromising durability or quality – an invention that laid the foundation for our success.
Today, RAMPA GmbH & Co. KG, based in Northern Germany, is a fifth-generation family business. For over 115 years, the RAMPA® brand has stood for high-quality fasteners for the wood, metal, and plastics industries.
