Sella Nevo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information science, technology evaluation, and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as a Senior Information Scientist at RAND Corporation, Sella Nevo focuses on pandemic prevention and mitigation. As a Venture Partner at Firstime VC and Co-Founder & Head of Research at Probably Good, Sella Nevo evaluates technological innovations and social impacts while promoting informed decision-making for career advancement. Sella Nevo has held significant roles at Google, leading a team dedicated to AI for Good, and has a rich academic background as a lecturer at Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Sella Nevo founded Effective Altruism Israel and has contributed to various leading organizations through invited talks. Sella Nevo's earlier experience includes leadership roles in the IDF's elite technological unit, specializing in mathematical and algorithmic research. Sella Nevo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
