Michael Galatis

Michael Galatis has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Desk Head for Corporate, Commercial, and Retail FX and Money Market Sales at Rand Merchant Bank since November 2013. Previously, Michael worked as an FX and Money Markets Dealer at the same institution and held the position of Treasury Dealer/Consultant at Merchant West from January 2011 to October 2013. Earlier in the career, Michael served as a Senior Fund Administrator at Alexander Forbes from March 2010 to December 2010. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, Politics & Philosophy from the University of Cape Town, an ACI Dealing Certificate from ACI - The Financial Markets Association, and completion of the RE Exam from the Financial Services Board. Education was completed at Hilton College.
