Prior to this, they were the Executive VP and COO of RANDON GROUP, CEO of FRAS-LE, and COO of Randon Autoparts Group. Before joining Empresas Randon, Sergio was the CEO of Nelson Global Products and held positions as the President for the on-highway divisions in North America, South America, and China. Sergio L also worked as a consultant for Independent and served as the CEO and President of Guangdong Fuwa Heavy Industries. Sergio has also been the CEO, President, and Founder of AXN Heavy Duty and President of Sypris Technologies. Earlier in their career, they worked at Meritor, where they held various management positions and served as the VP and GM for Commercial Vehicles Systems. Sergio has a wealth of experience in the automotive industry and has demonstrated strong leadership skills throughout their career.
Sergio L Carvalho pursued their education in Physics at the University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil. From 1975 to 1981, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at this institution. Additionally, between 1977 and 1982, they continued their studies in Physics at the University of Sao Paulo. During this time, they earned another Bachelor's degree in the same field.
