Brian Nappi has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and editing. Beginning in 2016, they worked as a Freelance Film Editor, where they took on various roles such as Picture Editor, Assistant Editor, Digital Imaging Technician, and Color Correction specialist. Alongside freelancing, Brian also worked at NormalBoots, a YouTube channel focused on video game content. Brian initially started as a Post Production Intern before moving on to become an Assistant Video Editor and eventually a Video Editor. During their time at NormalBoots, Brian also created animations for Normalboots' video game entertainment network.
In 2017, Brian gained experience in the television industry as a Unscripted Development Assistant at Tricon Films & Television and a Post Production Assistant at Sonar Entertainment.
Brian's experience continued to grow in 2019 when they joined Merck, one of the top pharmaceutical companies in the world, as a Video Editor and Animator. Brian designed and animated motion graphics for clients and edited engaging multi-can videos to support learning and development.
In 2020, Brian worked as a Video Designer at In The Box Entertainment, where they conceptualized, designed, and animated assets for virtual theater productions. Brian also took on the role of Producer for various productions.
Most recently, in 2021, Brian joined Ranker as a Producer and Video Editor. Brian is responsible for creating engaging stories for social media platforms and leading a team of editors to adapt videos into vertical formats for Snapchat.
Throughout their career, Brian has showcased their expertise in storytelling, video editing, animation, and motion graphics across various industries, including entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and virtual theater.
Brian Nappi obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Temple University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.
