Shannon Moffat

Shannon Moffat has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Senior Software Verification Engineer at Rapid Micro Biosystems since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at iRobot, where they held various positions including Senior Systems Test Engineer and Software Engineering Intern. At iRobot, they developed C++ source code for home service robots and managed a team to design an IoT device prototype.

Before iRobot, Shannon had roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, starting as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Pre-Collegiate Outreach Programs, where they coordinated events and documented processes. Shannon Moffat has a strong educational background in engineering. They obtained a Master's degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019, following their completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2018.
