Peter Kaes

Peter Kaes serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Rapid7, a position held since January 2014, where responsibilities include leading the legal team and overseeing the company's global legal strategy. Prior to that, Peter worked at Rocket Software from December 2003 to January 2014 as Associate General Counsel, managing various legal areas including contracts, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions. Earlier experience includes a role as Corporate Paralegal at Wind River Systems from February 2000 to February 2003. Peter holds a law degree from McGill University, earned between 2004 and 2007, and a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric & Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained from 1998 to 2002. Education was initiated at Berkeley High School, graduating in May 1998.
