Don Nista

Don Nista has worked in the solar software industry since 2012. Don began at SunTalk Solar as a Design and Commissioning Manager in 2012. Don then moved to RGS Energy in 2013, where they worked as a NABCEP Certified Design Engineer. In 2015, they joined Cypress Creek Renewables as a VP of O&M and Director of O&M. Don also worked as an O&M Manager at Clean Energy Collective in 2015. In 2018, they moved to Goldman Sachs as a VP of O&M. Most recently, they joined SB Energy (SoftBank Group) in 2021 as a Director of O&M, and is currently the Head of Knowledge at Raptor Maps - Solar Software.

Don Nista attended the University of Mount Union from 2003 to 2006, studying Business Administration and Management. In 2013 they attended Solar Energy International (SEI) to study Solar Energy Technology/Technician. In 2014 they obtained a Journeyman Wireman certification from the Colorado State Electrical Board and a NABCEP Certified Installation Professional certification from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
