Päivi Suomela has a diverse work experience ranging from customer service to software development. Päivi started their career in 2008 as a Customer Service & Support Representative at Genesys Conferencing, where they provided Finnish language customer service and consistently exceeded target SLAs. In 2009, they joined EBSCO Information Services as a Customer Account Manager, responsible for managing e-journal package transitions and renewal processes for the UK and Nordic markets. Päivi also worked as a Transitions Specialist, collecting data from customers and setting up their accounts in an imperfect legacy mainframe system. In 2015, Päivi joined GWD as a Senior Software Developer, and later took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at the Raspberry Pi Foundation in 2022.
Päivi Suomela completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies and General Linguistics from the University of Helsinki. Päivi attended the University from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they also spent a brief period at the Harbin Institute of Technology, where they studied Mandarin Chinese. Additionally, Päivi Suomela obtained a certification in Ruby: Testing with RSpec from LinkedIn in April 2023.

It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video.
