Rath AG is an Austrian producer of refractory products for applications temperatures between 1000 grad Celsius and 1800 grad Celsius. The Company's products are mainly based on Al2O3 - SiO2, and it also produces high purity products, including zircon oxide - bricks, among others. Its product portfolio includes shaped refractories, unshaped refractories and jointing materials for brick laying, as well as ceramic fibers as raw material for blankets and punched parts, and vacuum-shaped parts. The Company operates five geographical business segments, including Austria, Germany, Hungary, Rest of Europe and the United States. The Austria segment comprises Rath AG and Aug. Rath jun. GmbH.
