Dwayne Botchar is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Dwayne started their career in the culinary industry as a Co-Owner/Chef at Le Panache Restaurants, where they managed menu development and staff. Dwayne later owned and operated their own catering company, cater this! Catering Services, specializing in Global Fusion cuisine. Dwayne also had a management role at Mosaic Group.
In 2002, Dwayne joined Running Room Canada Inc as a Manager/Coach, overseeing a retail specialty running store and coaching beginners and amateurs in running and triathlon training.
In 2007, Dwayne became the VP of Programs for ISES Vancouver Chapter, an international organization for special event professionals, and served as the Second Vice President of the Vancouver Chapter of the BC Chefs Association.
Dwayne became the General Manager of Chair Décor Etc in 2007, responsible for market development and brand building.
Dwayne's career then shifted to Rational AG, where they held various sales roles, including Director and Senior Director of Sales for different regions. Dwayne also served as the Vice President of Global Learning Solutions, Sales & Marketing, responsible for training the company's team members globally in sales excellence.
In addition to their professional career, Dwayne was the Owner and Head Coach of the Kerrisdale Triathlon Club, where they provided coaching services for triathletes and running events participants.
Overall, Dwayne has a strong background in sales, management, coaching, and event planning, with a focus on continuous growth and personalized development.
Dwayne Botchar completed their Culinary Arts degree in Food Services from George Brown College between 1982 and 1984. Later, they pursued further education in the field of Triathlon by attending Coaching Canada, where they obtained a Certified Competition Coach - Triathlon degree from 2006 to 2017.
