Deniz Uzun is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in system engineering and server management. Currently employed at Block since February 2022 and at Afterpay since March 2015, Deniz has contributed to maintaining legacy colocation systems and assisting with migrations to AWS. Previous positions include Senior System Engineer at n11.com, where management of over 150 virtualized RHEL servers took place, and Application Platform System Engineer at Netas focused on the Genband SPiDR WebRTC Gateway. Earlier roles at IBM Global Services involved implementing AIX and Linux solutions, while initial experiences included network administration for the Turkish Air Force and editorial positions in technology journalism. Deniz holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
