Previously, as an Assistant County Attorney at the Travis County Attorney's Office from November 2014 to November 2016, Megan prepared misdemeanor cases for prosecution and represented the State of Texas in various legal proceedings. Earlier experience includes tenure as a Briefing Attorney at the Eleventh Court of Appeals of Texas from August 2013 to September 2014, where legal research and opinion drafting were primary responsibilities. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from Abilene Christian University.
