Radoslaw Koelner began his professional career working for Rawlplug S.A. (formerly known as Koelner S.A.). As a result of his ambition and devotion he managed to transform a local, family-owned enterprise into an internationally successful global company.
He has worked his way up within the organisation, having been willingly engaged in a wide range of tasks assigned to various different departments. By pursuing such methods, this enabled him to study the company’s operations on all levels and observe them “in motion”. His active involvement has allowed him to become a professional leader.
He has held the office of Chairman of the Board at Rawlplug S.A. since 1999.
Radosław can now apply to his everyday work the international experience and knowledge gained through numerous business trips. Such valued experiences have generated many global contacts which he still maintains. Open to sharing his expertise and industry insight whilst giving speeches at events organized locally and internationally, he is an advocate for environmental
sustainability and supports various charities.
The main field of his recent interest covers ideas connected with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) topics. He considers the notion of sustainability a crucial aspect of his organization’s business strategy.

Rawlplug SA, (formerly Koelner SA), is a Poland-based manufacturer and wholesaler of fixings for construction and industry sectors. Its range of activities includes the production and distribution of fixing systems, cable suspension systems, insulation fixings for facades and roofs, self-drilling screws, powder actuated and gas-driven fastening systems, accessories for drywall systems, wood connectors, ropes and rope accessories, as well as hand and power tools, including screw drivers, pliers, hammers, drilling and cutting tools, and others. It product portfolio includes about 40, 000 items offered under such brand names as Koelner, Modeco, Rrawlplug, Globus and Rawlfixing. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated a number of subsidiaries based in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, South Africa, Germany and Slovakia, among others.
