Montie Jenkins is an experienced control room operator specializing in natural gas and Siemens Combined Cycle systems, with a focus on the SGT6-5000F(5) and T3000 controls. Jenkins has worked for Rayburn Electric Cooperative since June 2023 and has held a similar position at Panda Power Funds since May 2016. Previous roles include serving as a Control Room Power Plant Operator at Luminant, where involvement included the startup and commissioning of the Sandow 5 Power Plant, and earlier positions as a Power Plant Operator at Bryan Texas Utilities and as an Outside Power Plant Operator at Texas A&M University. Jenkins completed a High School Diploma at Franklin High School in 2002.

We provide wholesale electrical power through Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), purchases of blocks of electricity on the open market, and through our ownership interest in the Freestone generating facility in Freestone County, Texas.
