Andrew J has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Andrew started their career at NASCAR in 2007 as a Duplication Associate, responsible for fulfilling client footage requests and performing tape-to-tape dubs using various tape media formats. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of New Media Specialist at NASCAR, where they maintained the SAN infrastructure, production Apple machines, and media asset management system. Andrew also played a key role in the production group's transition from Final Cut Pro 7 to Adobe Premiere. From 2014 to 2019, Andrew served as the Manager of Media Operations at NASCAR, overseeing the department responsible for recording and archiving NASCAR's video archive. Andrew managed the accuracy and quality control of NASCAR's Digital Asset Management System. Andrew also maintained the Envivio 4Casters for NASCAR. In 2019, Andrew joined the Carolina Panthers as a Media Asset Specialist until 2022. Currently, they work as the Director of Post & Media Manager at Raycom Sports.
Andrew J attended Appalachian State University from 2002 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a focus on Electronic Media Broadcasting. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro from Apple and as a Certified Akamai Administrator from Akamai Technologies. The months and years of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
