Dave Maritz has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Dave most recently worked as the Marketing Manager International at Rayner since February 2023. Prior to that, they owned and served as an Instructional Designer at DM TRAINING SOLUTIONS from December 2021 to January 2023. From June 2018 to December 2021, Dave was the National Sales Manager at Designs for Vision, responsible for developing and managing the sales team and achieving sales targets across Australia and New Zealand. Before that, they held various positions at Dutch Ophthalmic Research Centre (DORC), including Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand and Global Training Manager, nurturing customer relationships and executing sales plans. Dave also worked at Bausch & Lomb, where they were the Surgical Training Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, as well as an Equipment Specialist.
Dave Maritz completed a Diploma in Learning & Development with a focus on Training from The Training Foundation: TAP between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Honors in Biokinetics with a specialization in Sport Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
