Colby Slaughter has an extensive work experience in the legal field. Colby started their career as an Analyst/Associate Buyer at Kohl's Corporation in 2002. In 2005, they worked as a Law Clerk at Dechert LLP before moving to K&L Gates LLP in 2007, where they served as an Attorney until 2013. Colby then joined Rayonier as a Senior Counsel until 2014. From 2014 onwards, they worked at RYAM, where they progressed from Senior Counsel to Assistant General Counsel and later became Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at RYAM.
Colby Slaughter received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in 2002. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of Virginia School of Law and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
