Sofia Gedda

Sofia Gedda is an experienced system developer currently employed at RaySearch Laboratories since August 2019. Prior to this role, Sofia worked at SWEP from January 2012 to April 2019 as a Thermal Development Engineer, focusing on software development within the Heat Transfer Research team using C#. Additionally, in the same company, Sofia served as a Thermal Analysis Engineer, concentrating on the prediction and verification of thermal and hydraulic performance of brazed plate heat exchangers. Earlier in Sofia's career, a master thesis project at Modelon AB involved implementing a Python package for derivative-free optimization algorithms. Sofia holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics, specializing in Mathematical Statistics and Applied Mathematics, from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, with additional studies at Aix-Marseille University.
