Melissa P. has a diverse work experience in the field of radiology. Melissa began their career in 2003 as an Xray Technologist at the University of Utah Health. Melissa then transitioned to become a Lead MRI Technologist, where they managed other technologists and scanned a range of patients. In 2011, they joined Open Imaging as an MRI Technologist, where they scanned patients, optimized protocols, scheduled appointments, and ensured MRI safety. From 2017 to the present, Melissa has held various roles at RAYUS Radiology, including Senior Director of Operations and Business Development and Technical Operations Manager. Melissa was responsible for managing operations, providing guidance on conflict resolution and communication, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety policies. Additionally, Melissa worked at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) as a Technical Operations Manager from 2017 to 2021. At US MRI, they briefly served as an MRI Technologist Manager, overseeing a team of technologists and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. Melissa P. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University in 2024. Prior to that, they earned a certification in MRI from the University of Utah Hospital in 2004. Melissa also holds an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology/Science from Salt Lake Community College, which they completed between 2002 and 2004. Melissa obtained their high school diploma from Woods Cross High School in 1999. In addition, Melissa has obtained certification as a Certified MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in August 2018.
