Andreas Lehrmann is an esteemed academic and research professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia since March 2021. Since July 2019, Lehrmann has held multiple senior roles at Borealis AI, including Research Director and Senior Machine Learning Research Lead. Previously, Lehrmann contributed to advanced research as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Facebook from December 2017 to July 2019 and as a Postdoctoral Associate at Disney Research from August 2016 to December 2017. Lehrmann's academic journey includes a Doctorate in Machine Learning & Computer Vision from ETH Zürich and a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Tübingen, complemented by academic experience at Uppsala University.
