Foteini Agrafioti is a highly experienced leader in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Head of RBC Borealis and Chief Science Officer at RBC since May 2016, Foteini also co-chairs the AI Council for the Government of Canada, a role commenced in May 2019. Prior to these positions, Foteini was the Chief Information Officer at Architech from October 2014 to February 2016 and founded Nymi, a consumer electronics company, serving as its CTO from August 2011 to February 2014. Foteini Agrafioti holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete.
