Martin Magill possesses a robust background in machine learning and computational science, serving as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI since June 2022. Prior to this role, Martin held positions at Ontario Tech University from September 2014 to June 2022 as a Graduate Student and contributed to Altrina AI Incorporated as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer from July 2019 to May 2022. Additional experience includes being a Postgraduate Affiliate at the Vector Institute and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. Martin's educational credentials include a PhD and MSc in Modelling and Computational Science from Ontario Tech University and a BMath in Applied Mathematics with Physics Option from the University of Waterloo.
