Sean Carty

Sean Carty is an experienced Associate Director and Senior kdb+ Developer at RBC Capital Markets since April 2023. Previously, Sean worked as a kdb+ Developer and Consultant at First Derivatives from August 2017 to January 2023, gaining significant expertise in areas such as Tick Architecture, feed handler development, and interfacing with C shared objects. Sean's career began as a Graduate IT Consultant at Innovate from May 2016 to July 2017, and early experience included positions as a Confectioner at Sean Stafford Bakeries Ltd during the summers of 2013 and 2014. Sean holds a degree in Integrated Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin (2012-2016) and was a non-degree exchange student at the University of Notre Dame (2014-2015).
