Maya Powers is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Assistant Account Executive at R&CPMK since August 2023. Previously, Maya worked as a Brand Integration Assistant at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, where responsibilities included developing strategic partnerships, managing team schedules, and executing brand activations such as the sponsorship activation at the Sundance Film Festival. Prior experience includes roles as a Public Relations Account Assistant at Elana Cohen Public Relations, where Maya constructed media materials for multiple clients, and as Lead Project Manager for the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Midwest, where Maya organized a significant annual conference. An early role as a Communications Intern at HANA Center involved public relations campaigns for youth empowerment initiatives. Maya holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in May 2022.
