Michele Liakos, CAPS has over 37 years of experience in the property management industry. Michele most recently served as the Senior Vice President at RE Carroll Management since October 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of President at Signature Property Group, Inc. from November 2014 to October 2020. Michele also worked as a Regional Vice President at Harbor Group Management Company from December 1993 to November 2014, and as a Multi-Site Property Manager at Summit Management Company from May 1992 to December 1993. Michele began their career as a Property Manager at Drucker + Falk, LLC in January 1983 and worked their way up from leasing to overseeing value-added and new construction assets in Richmond, VA and Raleigh, NC until May 1992.
Michele Liakos, CAPS, obtained their Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in February 1994. Michele attended IREM from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, Michele has a Bachelor's degree but their field of study at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1981 to 1983 is not specified. More recently, they obtained their Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) certification from the National Apartment Association in February 2017. In June 2016, they also obtained their NC Broker's License from the NC Real Estate Commission.
