Tristan Tew

Tristan Tew has a diverse work experience. Tristan started their career as a Scoreboard Operator at Minnehaha Academy from November 2015 to February 2018. Tristan then worked as a Volunteer Operations Intern at 360 Communities from June 2018 to August 2018, where they gained experience in data entry, assisting clients, and improving volunteer experiences.

In 2019, Tristan held multiple roles. Tristan worked as an External Affairs Intern at GreenLight Fund from January 2019 to May 2019, conducting prospect research and contributing to the firm's fundraising efforts. Tristan also worked as an Operations Intern at 3DAPARTMENT from May 2019 to August 2019, contributing to projects such as social media marketing and financial statement analysis. Additionally, they served as the Student Food Rescue Program Manager at Boston University from May 2019 to May 2020, overseeing daily operations, managing volunteers, and building partnerships to address food injustice.

In 2020, Tristan worked as a Strategy and Innovation Research Assistant at Questrom School of Business, Boston University, where they conducted research and analysis on stigmatization in the wheelchair industry.

In 2021, Tristan held various roles. Tristan was an Analyst Development Program Intern at Liberty Mutual Insurance from May 2021 to August 2021, auditing web analytics collection tools and creating scalable tools for digital data collection. Tristan also worked as a CS108 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University from January 2021 to December 2021, providing support in office hours, workshops, and grading assignments for the "Introduction to Web Applications" class.

In 2022, Tristan continued their teaching assistant roles at Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Tristan was a QM323 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from January 2021 to May 2022, facilitating office hours and workshops for students. Tristan also worked as a BA476/MK842 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from August 2021 to January 2022, collaborating with the professor to create materials for machine learning courses.

Since June 2022, Tristan has been working at Recorded Future. Tristan started as a Data Analyst Co-op, Product Insights, where they supported stakeholders in performing ETL on data and building product analytics applications. Tristan then moved on to become a Data Engineer, MDM/Product Insights, where they contributed to the collection and analysis of threat intelligence data. Currently, they are serving as a Data Scientist, Research, applying their skills in machine learning for security teams.

Tristan Tew holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems and Independent (Data and Behavioral Sciences) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. In addition, they have a minor in Psychology from Boston University. Prior to their university education, Tristan obtained their High School Diploma from Minnehaha Academy.

They have also obtained several certifications, including Recorded Future Certified User from Recorded Future in April 2022, Human Subjects Protection Training: Social and Behavioral Focus from CITI Program in February 2022, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) I from Scrum.org in November 2021, The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2021: Go From Zero to Hero from Udemy in May 2021, and Python for Finance: Investment Fundamentals and Data Analytics from Udemy in August 2020.
