D'Andre Birthwright

D'Andre Birthwright is an experienced professional in the fields of recreational therapy and addiction counseling. Currently serving as a Recreational Therapist at Recreational Respite since July 2021, D'Andre previously worked as an Addiction Counsellor at Addiction Rehab Toronto from June 2023 to March 2024. Prior to that, a role as a Medical Imaging & Health Assistant was held at Toronto General Hospital from August 2021 to April 2023, and D'Andre gained administrative experience as a File Clerk at Leder, Herskovits Professional Corporation from May 2021 to September 2022. D'Andre holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Behaviour, along with minors in Mental Health and Addictions and Gerontology, from McMaster University. Additionally, a Postgraduate Degree in Mental Health and Disability Management was obtained from Mohawk College in 2022, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University.
