Avery Uslaner has extensive experience in systems administration and conservation, currently serving as a Systems Administrator at Red Butte Garden since February 2015, where responsibilities include managing a Filewave MDM server for approximately 120 users and maintaining a Django + Wagtail CMS on AWS Lambda. As the founder and CEO of Conservation Technology Solutions Inc since March 2017, expertise is directed towards providing support for hardware and software tools in natural resource conservation. Previous roles include Botany Specialist at The Great Basin Institute, where coordination of native plant material development for the Colorado Plateau region was facilitated, and various research assistant positions at Red Butte Botanic Garden, contributing to conservation projects. Educational qualifications include a degree from Colorado College and additional coursework through Udacity.

Red Butte Garden
Red Butte Garden, located on 100 acres in the foothills above the University of Utah, is an official arboretum of the state of Utah. The Garden has welcomed guests since 1985 and is the largest botanical garden in the Intermountain West with over 21 acres of developed gardens and five miles of hiking trails winding through an extensive Natural Area. The Garden; which is community-funded; is renowned for its numerous plant collections, display gardens, 540,000 springtime blooming bulbs; including a vast collection of daffodils; beautiful private event spaces, world-class outdoor summer concert series, and award-winning horticulture-based educational programs.
