Mark Smith has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director - EMEA at Red Engineering since April 2015, alongside a director role at Callaghan Engineering Ltd. since December 2020. Previous positions include Technical Director at Parsons Brinckerhoff and various roles at Cundall, Desco (Design & Consultancy) Ltd., Compac Services (NE) Ltd., Gateshead College, Satchwell Control Systems, and Veale-Nixon Ltd. Mark Smith holds a BEng(Hons) in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University, along with additional qualifications as an Accredited Tier Designer from the Uptime Institute and HNC degrees in Building Services Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle College.
