Emilio Ponce

Emilio Ponce is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in frontend development and architecture. Currently serving as Frontend Architect and previously as Senior Frontend Developer at Red Points since September 2019, Emilio has also worked as Senior Frontend Engineer at ZINIO and Lead Software Engineer at Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya, where responsibility included overseeing a team of seven developers. Early career roles included web development and technical support at Institut d'Estudis Territorials, beginning as a Web Developer/Web Mapping Analyst in 2003. Emilio holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, with additional studies in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Genova through an Erasmus program.
