Rick Charnley

Rick Charnley is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director at Red Rover Interactive since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rick held various positions at Northstar Ventures UK from September 2012 to March 2024, including Investment Director and Investment Manager, where responsibilities involved supporting exceptional founders and managing growth plans through investment funds and networks, with notable investments such as Caspian, Wordnerds, and Gliff. Rick also contributed to the launch of Accelerated Digital Ventures as Investment Lead from December 2016 to January 2018, overseeing financial modeling for a £150 million raise and strategic development of the platform. Previous roles include Investor in Residence at the Ignite - Sirius Programme and Portfolio Executive at Entrust. Rick holds a degree in Maths and Statistics from Newcastle University and has training from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
