Rob Masinter has over 25 years of work experience in various fields. Rob is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Redeux Energy, a utility-scale solar and storage development company, where their role includes leading financial sponsors, transforming lands into renewable power infrastructure, and addressing local needs for economic and workforce development. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Management Consultant for solar and storage, where their role included evaluating business plans and new opportunities and advising private equity and other corporates on renewable energy market entry strategies and investment opportunities. Rob was also the Chief Operating Officer at Spout, a company that provides clean energy solutions.
Before working in the renewable energy sector, Masinter had experience in telecommunications and finance. Rob was the US Complex Leader, Distributed Energy and Energy Storage at The AES Corporation, where they were responsible for general management and P&L for US battery energy storage operations. Rob also led the initial capital raise and strategic planning as the Co-Founder and EVP, Corporate Development & Strategy at OpTerra Energy Group. Additionally, they worked in various roles at Level 3 Communications, including VP of Offer Management, Content Markets Group, and General Manager, Vyvx ADS Business. Furthermore, they worked at Atlantic Richfield and ARCO Coal in financial and managerial roles.
Rob Masinter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Rob also has a Master of Science (MS) in Earth Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology from Middlebury College. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Leading Product Development from the Harvard Business School Executive Education program in July 2005.
