Ahmed Shawky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ahmed served as President of the Association of Somaliland Community In Australia Inc since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Redflex, where they successfully delivered speed enforcement technology to various customers. Ahmed also worked as a Project Manager at Downer, where they effectively planned and managed the testing and commissioning of High-Capacity Metro Trains. Ahmed Shawky's experience also includes working as a Project Engineer at Cablex Pty Ltd, where they designed and tested wiring and electronic circuit boards for defense contracts. Ahmed started their career as a Service Engineer at MRS Marine Radio Service, where they conducted installations, repairs, and services on marine navigational and RF electronic equipment. Furthermore, they worked as an Electronic Engineer at ROBOCON UTM, where they designed circuit diagrams and resolved complex robot issues. Ahmed Shawky has demonstrated proficiency in various technical skills and has consistently prioritized customer satisfaction throughout their career.
Ahmed Shawky attended Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) (Honours). During their time at the university, they also obtained several additional certifications. In February 2014, they received a certification in ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System Requirement, as well as one in OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT (OSHE). In October 2013, they obtained a certification in Havard Business School Case Study and another one in How To Manage Your Finance. Additionally, in August 2012, they obtained a certification in Green Campus Idea Innovation.
