Matthias Kranz

Matthias Kranz is a seasoned technology sales leader with extensive experience in open source solutions. Since July 2006, Matthias has held various leadership roles at Red Hat, currently serving as Senior Director for Tech Sales in Germany, where the focus is on managing teams of Solution Architects and Technology Sellers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Prior roles include Director of Solution Architects for Germany and EMEA, as well as Manager of Solution Architects for Central and Eastern Europe, showcasing a deep expertise in presales operations and strategic account management. Before joining Red Hat, Matthias served as Director of Product Strategy and Presales Manager at ASDIS Software AG, and as a Software Architect at Linux Information Systems AG. Academic credentials include studies at Freie Universität Berlin and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
