Andrew Wong

Andrew Wong has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Andrew began as a Research Assistant at Ozcan Research Group in 2013 and then became a Software Engineering Intern at Raytheon in 2014. In 2015, they were a Master's Fellowship Student at Sandia National Laboratories. Andrew then returned to Raytheon as a Software Engineering Intern in 2016. In 2017, they joined Cloudera as a Software Engineer, then became a Senior Software Engineer, and finally a Staff Software Engineer. In the same year, they also joined The Apache Software Foundation as a PMC Member and PMC Chair of Apache Kudu. In 2022, they joined Redpanda Data as a Software Engineer.

Andrew Wong attended Saratoga High School from 2007 to 2011 and received a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Andrew then went on to the University of California, Los Angeles, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2015. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2015 to 2016.
