Alan Chute is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Redpath Mining since July 2019, Alan previously held key positions at Miller Technology Inc. as Manager of Engineering and Research and Development Engineer from January 2017 to July 2019. Prior to that, Alan worked at Stantec from September 2007 to December 2016, contributing as Project Engineer on the Ventilation Expansion Project at PCS Allan mine and supervising a team as Mechanical Engineering Supervisor. Alan began a career as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer and Engineer in Training at Stantec, focusing on mine hoisting systems through various study phases. Earlier experience includes working as an Engineer in Training at Korex Canada Co., where responsibilities included configuring packaging lines and overseeing equipment upgrades. Alan Chute holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
