Ane Brorsen began their work experience in 1997 as a Sales Supporter at Lyngsøe Marine, where they provided technical support to sales teams and participated in negotiations for larger orders. Ane then moved on to Ericsson Enterprise in 1998, where they worked as a Customer Care Manager for EMEA. In this role, they were responsible for implementing a partner loyalty program and developing processes for partner certification. Ane joined Realtime A/S in 2003 as a Project Manager, leading the implementation of projects for clients such as TDC and Nawras. Ane continued their project management career at NNIT A/S in 2005, working until 2007. At NNIT A/S, Ane held the position of Manager in an Application Management department with a focus on the public sector. In 2008, they became a Team Leader at NNIT A/S, overseeing a team of 22 project managers and developers. Ane then worked as the Head of HomeBanking at SDC from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are serving as the Country Manager at Redpill Linpro, a provider of professional Open Source services and products in the Nordic region. In this role, they lead a team of experts and is responsible for delivering products and services based on Open Source software.

Ane Brorsen earned a BA degree in Engineering, Economics, and Languages from Ingeniør Højskolen Københavns Teknikum between 1992 and 1998.
