Benneth Christiansson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Benneth started their career in 1993 as a Lecturer at the University College of Borås. In 1996, they joined Karlstad University as a Teacher, where they worked until 2006. During this time, they also concurrently owned and operated C:son Consulting HB, where they were responsible for course development and instruction.
In 2008, Christiansson joined Redpill Linpro as a Curriculum Manager for MSS, a role they held until 2009 when they transitioned to the position of Operations Manager @MSS. Benneth continued their journey at Redpill Linpro, working as a Curriculum Manager Jsol from 2010 to 2015. During this period, they also served as a Curriculum Manager at Varnish Software from 2013 to 2014.
In 2015, Christiansson became a Senior Integration and API Management Consultant at Redpill Linpro, a position they currently hold. Benneth'smost recent academic role was at Karlstad University, where they served as a Distinguished Assistant Professor from December 2016 onwards. This title recognizes their long-term excellence in teaching.
Benneth Christiansson obtained a PhD in Information Systems from Linköping University from 1999 to 2006. Before that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1992. Prior to their studies at Gustavus Adolphus, Benneth acquired a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Borås from 1989 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, they completed courses such as "HADOOP ESSENTIALS - HDE 100" at MapR Technologies in September 2015, "shaping-up-with-angular-js" at Code School in March 2015, "MongoDB for Java Developers" at MongoDB, Inc. in July 2013, "WSO2 Carbon Administrator" at WSO2 in May 2013, and "WSO2 ESB Developer" at WSO2 in May 2013.
