Eugene Ma has diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Eugene co-founded RedShift BioAnalytics, Inc. in 2005 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, they were also a co-founder and CTO at Aegis Lightwave from 2000 to 2005. Eugene started their career at Andersen Consulting in 1991 as a Senior Consultant until 1994.

Eugene Ma completed their education in electrical engineering, starting with a Bachelor's degree at Yale University from 1987 to 1991. Eugene then pursued their Master's degree in electrical engineering at Princeton University from 1994 to 1996. Eugene furthered their academic journey by completing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Princeton University from 1996 to 1999.
