Michael LaBossiere began their work experience in 2004 as an IT Specialist at Grafton Suburban Credit Union. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at Remspec Corporation. In 2007, they joined Microwave Radio Communications as a Software Engineer II. Michael also worked at Vislink (Microwave Radio Communications) Inc during the same period. From 2010 to 2017, Michael worked at Foliage - Part of the Altran Group as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on C++, Python, and C# development. Michael then joined Altran in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer until 2019. Currently, Michael is working at RedShiftBio as a Senior Software Engineer, and has recently taken on the role of Principal Software Engineer in January 2022.
Michael LaBossiere completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2002 to 2005. Michael then pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering at Boston University from 2005 to 2006.

It has developed a MicrofluidicModulation Spectroscopy (MMS) platform in response to a customer’s request for a better solution, and rather than repurpose outdated tools and methods designed originally for other applications. They started a new and developed MMS from the ground up specifically with the protein scientist in mind.The company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts.
