Currently serving as President & CEO of AKnowledge Partners, LLC since September 2012, Akbari has developed consultative strategies for Fortune 1000 companies in technology sectors including IoT, Cyber Security, and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Akbari holds the position of Non Executive Board Member at Banco Santander and has held key leadership positions such as Chair of the Compensation Committee at Temenos and Chairman of the Board at WorkFusion. Previously, Akbari was President & CEO of SkyBitz, where record performance was achieved during economic challenges. Akbari holds an MBA with Distinction in Strategy and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Doctorate in Experimental Particle Physics with Honors from Tufts University and Fermi National Laboratory.
