Ivan Ristić is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at Red Sift since October 2022, Ivan has also held the position of Publisher at Feisty Duck since February 2009 and was a Technical Advisory Board Member at Let's Encrypt until October 2022. Ivan founded Hardenize, which was acquired by Red Sift, and previously contributed to the security landscape as Director of Engineering at Qualys and European Review Board Member at Black Hat. Ivan's entrepreneurial spirit is further highlighted by founding SSL Labs and ModSecurity, both of which were acquired by Qualys and Breach Security, respectively. Ivan Ristić is actively involved in the community, having served as Chapter Leader for OWASP London. Ivan holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology and Computing from The Open University.
