Jan de Veld is an accomplished technical manager currently contributing to RedStar since September 2023. With extensive experience in the marine and engineering sectors, Jan de Veld previously served as a superintendent and senior service engineer at Bergen Engines from August 2006 to September 2023, specializing in all-around service on gas engines used in Dutch greenhouses, with a focus on PLC and emissions control. Jan de Veld also held the chief engineer position at Multraship Towage & Salvage from August 2002 to August 2006, overseeing technical systems on a survey vessel, and served as chief engineer at both Multraship bv and Koop Tjuchem during the early 2000s. Jan de Veld holds a degree as a maritiem officier from MBO Zeevaartschool, obtained between 1990 and 1993.
