Puru Shah

Puru Shah is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Staff Electrical Engineer at Redwood Materials since January 2023, Puru leads the creation of design standards and workflows while managing design budgets. Previously, at Tesla from May 2021 to June 2022, Puru designed electrical infrastructure for the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, and played a critical role in the Cathode factory design. Puru also contributed to Cushing Terrell as an Electrical Engineer from April 2014 to May 2021, where responsibilities included developing construction drawings and specifications. Earlier career roles involved preparing construction documents at Alderson and Associates Inc and engaging in renewable energy research at Trinity University. Puru holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering Science and International Studies from Trinity University.
