Prior to their role at Redzone, from 2012 to 2017, Matthew worked as a Principal Consultant at DB&A - DeWolff, Boberg & Associates, Inc, a global management consulting firm. During this time, they worked with all levels of management to install a comprehensive process that focused on developing a culture of accountability and results. Matthew achieved impressive financial returns for their clients, such as producing over $15 million in financial return for a top global payment provider and increasing utilization by 93% in the banking sector.
Before DB&A, from 2010 to 2012, they served as an Operations Manager at City Furniture, managing a 90+ person function for a $300 million home furnishings retailer. In this role, they oversaw key processes at the corporate-based distribution center/warehouse, implementing demand-based scheduling, reducing downtime, and implementing Hoshin Kanri.
Matthew's earlier experience includes roles such as Purchasing Manager at Marble of the World from 2009 to 2010, where they managed the supply chain for a $20 million natural stone retailer, and Product Manager at City Furniture from 2004 to 2009, where they were responsible for planning and supply chain functions.
