Richard Maurer started their career in 2007 as an Outside Sales Representative at Fastenal. Richard then joined Rees Scientific in 2008, where they worked as a Regional Sales Representative for Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Northern Indiana. Later, they became the Regional Sales Director, responsible for managing a territory and other sales representatives selling to customers in an 11 state region. At Rees Scientific, they promoted and sold industry-leading Automated Monitoring/Alarm, Automated Watering, and Access Control systems to various institutions, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital, blood bank, and academic research institutions.
Richard Maurer attended Purdue University Northwest from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Richard then pursued further education at Purdue University Northwest from 2005 to 2007 and earned a Master of Science degree in Biology with a specialization in Genetics.
