Catie Lichten

Catherine Lichten is an experienced professional in scientific communications and writing, currently serving as the Scientific Communications Manager at Refeyn since January 2020, where roles also include Scientific Writer and consultant for scientific writing and editing. Prior to this, Catherine worked as a Scientific Writer in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford from November 2019 to June 2022 and gained policy research experience as a Policy Researcher at RAND Europe from May 2014 to October 2019. Earlier in the career, Catherine held the position of News Reporter at Research Ltd. from September 2012 to April 2014 and completed a press internship at the Society for Experimental Biology in 2012. Catherine holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Philosophy from McGill University.
